The gallery brings together a changing collection of seascapes and landscapes, all inspired by the coastlines, fields and moorland of the South West. Here you can slow down, scroll at your own pace and notice which pieces you keep coming back to. Often, the paintings that stay in your mind are the ones that will feel most at home on your wall.
As you move through the gallery, I invite you to open individual paintings and explore the details. Look closely at the textures, the layers of colour and the way the light shifts across each piece. Imagine how a particular painting might feel in your living room, hallway, bedroom or workspace – does it calm the space, add energy, or remind you of a favourite walk or holiday? Trust your instinctive reaction; just as I paint from feeling, choosing art is often about the emotional response.
If you’re unsure which painting to choose, it can help to shortlist a few favourites and then show them in specific rooms or positions. Think about the mood you’d like to create – peaceful, dramatic, uplifting, reflective, and notice which works align with that. You might also enjoy grouping two or three pieces together to create a small collection that tells a story across your walls.
