A few comments from studio visitors and art collectors

When visiting my Devon studio or meeting me at an exhibition, whether to browse or buy, I love chatting with visitors and collectors to learn about what they see in my paintings. In fact, what most visitors and collectors tell me about, is not what they see in the painting but how my paintings make them feel!

They tell me how they feel about a painting and say including, ‘That’s exactly how the sea makes me feel’ or ‘I love the feeling I get from the painting’ or ‘You’ve captured the mood perfectly’

I am thrilled to receive feedback - in my studio, at an exhibition and after the new owners have hung my painting on their wall and lived with it for a while.
